Australia Day
Thurs 26 Jan marks an Australian celebration, and here are a couple of ways to spend the day.
The Rocks is a popular destination with prime views of Sydney Harbour. With roaming entertainment and music that is sure to fun for the whole family. Giant board-games, to a giant swing, steet chalk art and food trucks to fill you up.
Darling Harbour will host an incredible harbourside party. From 6pm Cockle Bay will come alive with a powerful Indigenous welcome song, speeches, dragon boaters and fireworks at 9pm.
40 boats both big and small will be partying on the ocean and decked out in their best dressed. Australia Day Harbour Parade will set sail from 12.45-2.15pm and the best vantage points are either Hickson Road Reserve, Sydney Opera House Northern Boardwalk, Farm Cove or Bradfield Park.
